The plastic clips (4 pack) is an essential inclusion for every cage. It’s certain that cuttlebone, millet, treats and branches should all feature in a well cared for parrotlet’s cage, so how to achieve this?

Every bird needs access to such foods and enrichment items and these items should be easy to place and remove. These clips are a one-time install into your parrotlet’s cage, then you can load and reload items to them with ease.

Attach the clip from inside the cage with the small flanges locking in between the vertical cage wires. Squeeze the arms that protrude outside the cage to open the jaws. Insert the cuttlebone, millet, treat or branch between the jaws and release the arms.

It may be advisable to squeeze the jaws to tighten them on the cuttlebone as this will “bite” into the softer surface, providing a sturdier grip.

Each clip is approximately 6 cm long.
